About us
 Fifteen years of globe trotting with British Airways was quite enough for Kate Saint. Having seen most of the world, Kate decided to settle back in her home town of Darlington in the North East of England.
Having always had a passion for clothes, and a certain style, it seemed a natural progression that she would do something in that field. Acquiring certain sources of supply, initially Kate worked from home exhibiting her stock at fashion shows for local organisations.
Kate regards this as her apprenticeship as she had no formal training and after five years having built up her clientelle, kate acquired premises in 1997 in the fashionable Grange Road area of Darlington an area well worth a visit for a traditional shopping experience with its designer stores, restaurants, cafes and beauty salons.

Her designer label dress agency and hat shop proved to be hugely successful. New premises in Grange Road were found in 2003 giving ample space to display her ever growing collection of special occasion wear and one of the largest hat collections in the North East.
At 37 Grange Road you will find an amazing collection of classic clothes to take you to the races, on a cruise, to a wedding or that special occasion. A superb collection of evening wear, pashminas, jewellery also awaits you.
Kates intention was to house under one roof a wide selection of clothes, hats and accessories that were different and not commonly found elsewhere.
